OUR FOUNDER EVGENIYA MENASSA LIVES FASHION
In 2013, a spark ignited within me as I taught a small group of children how to create skirts from my home studio. Witnessing their passion inspired me to expand my teaching to include both children and adults in the art of crafting their own garments.
My journey in sewing and garment creation began at the tender age of six, leading me to pursue a master's degree in Garment Engineering from Amur State University and Pattern Making from Shanghai Donghua University. Additionally, I am a passionate advocate for the Waldorf education system and currently teach the handwork subject at two international Waldorf schools in Hong Kong.
From those humble beginnings, Elissandro has blossomed into a thriving fashion education studio, thanks to the dedication of our team of five incredible individuals. Together, we have guided over 1,000 students through nearly 100 courses, 30+ fashion camps, and five memorable fashion shows.
It fills my heart with pride to see many of my students pursuing careers in fashion design and sewing, equipped with the skills they learned here. The feedback from parents whose children I taught years ago, now thriving in their own businesses or graduating in fashion design, is truly rewarding.
