Introduction to Sewing

Kids will dive into a colourful world of fabric and creativity! They’ll be guided through the absolute basics of sewing, this includes how to safely use a sewing machine. Using these skills kids will design and craft their very own project to take home! Every project is thoughtfully tailored to their skills, age and level.

Children will have the opportunity to create a Halloween costume. Kindly inform us of their chosen character in advance so that we can prepare the necessary materials.

Intermediate Fashion & Sewing

Guided step by step, students will refine their sewing machine techniques, learn essential fashion design skills, including how to take measurements, plan a garment, work with patterns and sew one garment to take home.
As an alternative kids can create a Halloween costume. Kindly inform us of their chosen character in advance so that we can prepare the necessary materials.
Both options are expertly tailored to their age and skill level.

In this week, kids will work with small patterns on mini mannequins to create their own fashion collections. They will master the basics of pattern-making and learn professional draping techniques. Each student will receive a mini professional mannequin to practice at home after the course.
Fabric Art. Design and Sewing
Week 5
(Aug 11&13)

On the 1st day of camp, participants will unleash their creativity by designing and creating fabric art on canvas using acrylic paint. On the 2nd day, the children will transform their canvas creations into stylish tote bags and will learn basic sewing skills while using a sewing machine. At the end of camp, each child will take home their very own creation!

Week 3

Join us in exploring the exciting world of garment making! Children will learn essential skills, including how to take measurements, plan a garment, work with patterns, and create fashion sketches. They will also have the opportunity to sew a skirt or shorts. Each participant will complete a garment project to take home.
Recycle, Reuse, Redesign
Sai Kung
This workshop encourages children to bring unwanted clothing or special items to be redesigned into new clothing pieces, promoting discussions about sustainability in fashion.

- During this week, kids will work with small patterns on mini mannequins to create their fashion collections.
- They will go through a full fashion design process—from sketching to bringing their ideas to life, mastering the basics of using patterns and professional draping techniques to craft a mini collection
- On the first day, children will be guided through the basics of hand sewing and machine sewing. By the second day, they will complete a mini collection to take home.
- Each student will receive a tabletop mini professional mannequin to practice at home after the course.​​

Pop Demon Hunters Fashion & Sewing

(August 3&5)

- This week, kids will delve into the exciting world of garment making inspired by their favorite K-Pop demon hunter characters!
- They will learn valuable skills while designing and creating cool outfits.
- The first day will cover how to take measurements, fashion illustration, planning a garment, working with patterns, and machine sewing basics. On the second day, kids will have the opportunity to sew an outfit and style it, completing a project to take home.​
- Each student will receive a tabletop mini professional mannequin to practice at home after the course.​​
