Service Description

Have you always wanted to learn how to sew but didn’t know where to start? This friendly, hands-on introductory course is designed for absolute beginners with little or no previous sewing experience. Across 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, you will learn the essential skills needed to begin your sewing journey, including: • How to set up and use a sewing machine • How to thread the machine and wind a bobbin • Understanding basic sewing tools and supplies • How to cut fabric accurately • How to use different presser foot • How to insert a regular zipper You will practise each technique as you learn and create a useful, basic 𝘇𝗶𝗽 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 to take home. By the end of the course, you will feel more confident using a sewing machine, understand the fundamentals of sewing, and have a clearer idea of whether you would like to continue sewing as a hobby or develop your skills further.
